No need to switch the jake off when you upshift. Unless it's a Detroit. Cummins and CAT, there is a way to shift with the jake on and it wont mess you up.

I mean, european style Volvos are not the Volvos americans / canadians get. The FH or FM series is far, far, faaaaaaaaaaaaar superior to the american Volvo. Like, Volvos automatic gearbox is probably the best you can get in a truck, atleast the one they put in the european trucks.

See there steering wheel holder and their drivers. A steering wheel holder would look at a situation and complain and won't try to figure out the situation and would tell everyone how piss poor the situation was and how upset he is that his company or broker sent him there. A driver would just do the job with no complain regardless of how hard or difficult it was and go on about there day and you wouldn't here a peep out of him of the situation but if you ask him about it he might say "oh it was little hard but i did it" and thats it of about it

Have you changed thermostat 2:31 lately those new thermostat all run 190 to 205 is normal on newer style motor look at dip stick and radiotor for any signs on oil in water if head gaskets you will get alittle oil on dip stick 😅😅😅

Yep, you are correct. An excellent way to snap a drive shaft, drive shaft input or axle. Getting a run at it is the only way. Glad you made it.

thx a lot. as i said in my comment on another video. it reminds me very well of my military days with a 4x4 MAN 630 army truck. it had six gears with gears for off-road at a vmax of 70 kmh (about 43 miles/hour)

Just curious, why don’t b-trains and trailers have backup cameras the way most cars and trucks do. While I know you need to be able to just use your mirrors, wouldn’t a camera be helpful? (or maybe you have them but just don’t show it in the videos?) really enjoy watching your videos they are relaxing for some reason :) thanks!

Hey Matt, on loads of insulation board where the operators forks don't go through to the other side of the bundles, I run a 2 inch ratchet strap around the bundles horizontally about a foot up the bundle. Then I toss a 2 inch strap over the top,, hook it to the horizontal strap, and the ratchet end gets hooked to the mast and tightened. Works like a charm

All my buddies gave me shit when I did my straight pipes because I only went 96" tall. Jokes on them, I can just clear a 12'6" bridge as long as the load on the flatbed is below the stacks.
